AV 4000 Series - Ductile Iron Flanged - Raised Face - Full Port Ball Valve 150# (4000D 2" - 10")

Reliable Valve Solutions for Everyday Water Challenges
For over 100 years, American Valve has delivered high-performance valves trusted across plumbing, HVAC, and industrial applications. Known globally for our expertise in ball valves, thermoplastic valves, plumbing valves, and water treatment components, we engineer solutions that solve critical flow control challenges with long-lasting performance and reliability.
💧 Why Gate Valves Fail — And What Makes the 4000 Series Better
Gate valves are prone to leakage by design. With a Class IV shutoff, their discs and seat rings remain exposed to wear and debris buildup, making them difficult to operate—often requiring excessive force or cheater bars just to turn.
🔧 The 4000 Series: Performance Without Compromise
The 4000 Series Flanged Ball Valve is the ultimate gate valve replacement. It’s engineered for maximum unobstructed flow, protected valve seats, and smooth automation with low operating torque and an ISO 5211 mounting pad.
Unlike traditional gate, butterfly, or eccentric plug valves that are prone to failure in demanding environments, the 4000 Series is the trusted solution for critical water, air, and industrial fluid applications around the world.
🛡️ Built to Last: The PFA*-Fused Ball Advantage
At the heart of the 4000 Series is a PFA-fused solid cast iron ball*—a breakthrough innovation offering industry-leading durability and chemical resistance.
Benefits of the PFA-Fused Ball:*
-
Exceptional corrosion resistance
-
Inhibits lime, calcium, and sludge buildup
-
Lasts up to 10 times longer than unprotected balls
-
Lower torque requirements, longer seat life
-
Permanent bond—won’t chip, flake, or wear off
