Arctic 080ZA/B-R32 Pool & Spa Heat Pump
The Arctic 080ZA/B-R32 Heat Pump provides both heating and cooling for pools, spas, hot tubs, and swim spas. Select the desired operating mode from the digital controller to heat or chill the water as needed.
Designed for cold-weather operation, the unit combines inverter technology, a titanium heat exchanger, hot-gas defrost, and freeze protection for year-round pool and spa temperature control.

How It Works
The Arctic Heat Pump transfers heat between the surrounding air and the pool or spa water. The supplied product information states that the unit can consume approximately 1/3 to 1/5 of the electricity of its heating capacity and may provide energy savings as high as 80% compared with traditional electric or gas pool and spa heaters. Built-in hot-gas defrost and drain-pan/compressor freeze protection support cold-weather operation.
