Cold Weather:

• In tall buildings, temperature typically rises 0.5°F to 1°F for every foot of height.

• A 20 ft facility may be 10–20°F hotter at the ceiling than at the floor.

• Bucket Fans push superheated ceiling air to the floor, cutting heating bills by 25–33%.

Hot Weather:

• In air-conditioned buildings, cold air from ceiling ductwork often loses efficiency battling rising warm air.

• Up to 40% of input energy is wasted pumping excess cold air to overcome stratification.

• Placing Bucket Fans near cold air registers pushes conditioned air where it’s needed most, lowering cooling costs.

📏 Sizing the Right Bucket Fan

• Ceiling heights 20–30 ft: Use Bucket Fan 420

• Ceiling heights 25–35 ft: Use Bucket Fan 1055

• Ceiling heights 30–45 ft: Use Bucket Fan 1460

Example Calculation:
Building dimensions = 125 ft (L) × 75 ft (W) × 20 ft (H) = 187,500 cu. ft

Formula:

1. H × W × L = Air Volume (V)

2. V ÷ CFM ÷ 60 = Number of Fans

187,500 ÷ 1055 ÷ 60 = 2.96 fans → 3 Bucket Fans required (always round up).
