Rusco 2" Sediment Trapper Filter
The Rusco 2" Sediment Trapper Filter provides reusable, high-capacity sediment filtration for commercial, agricultural, irrigation, industrial, and general equipment-protection applications.
Unlike the standard Spin-Down configuration, the Sediment Trapper uses an extended lower collection chamber that provides additional space for captured sediment to collect below the filtration element. This helps keep accumulated debris away from the screen while allowing sediment to be discharged through the bottom flush valve during routine maintenance.
The 2" Sediment Trapper supports a 18–100 GPM flow range, uses 2" slip inlet and outlet connections, and measures approximately 17-7/8" L × 5-1/2" W.
Standard models are available with polyester mesh or stainless steel mesh. Rusco also offers separate Chemical-Resistant versions that use a chemical-resistant filter cover.

Very nice expansion tank. Mine is a 16 gallon. Has feet so it will sit on the floor next to your boiler and doesn’t have to be mounted on the wall.
It’s sturdy enough to support your Air Separator, Pressure Regulator and Backflow Preventer.
I recently installed my new 29kw BTH Ultra boiler and so far I am really impressed.
We live in an old 2 story brick farmhouse built in 1814! This unit replaced an Outdoor Wood Boiler with a 750 gallon tank. It was about 30 years old and last winter the tank rusted thru and busted.
We have 11 cast iron “American Radiators” and they heat the house well.
The BTH will heat all the water to 150 degrees in about an hour and we don’t have to build a fire and wait hours.
The most impressive part is the Outdoor Temperature sensor. When it’s not that cold outside, the unit doesn’t turn on all the elements at once and slowly heats the water which saves a lot of electricity in the warmer months!
I’m looking forward to see how well it does when the temperature drops between 0-30 and it snows and I don’t have to go outside several times a day and load wood. I’m confident the Ghost Rider will perform!
