Rusco 2" L-Style Sediment Trapper Filter
The Rusco 2" L-Style Sediment Trapper combines reusable sediment filtration with Rusco's specialized L-Style plumbing configuration.
Unlike the straight-through T-Style body, the L-Style configuration places the water inlet on the side and the outlet on the top. Rusco identifies this configuration for use in jet-pump applications.
The Sediment Trapper design provides additional space below the filtration element where captured sediment can collect before it is discharged through the bottom flush valve. This helps reduce sediment loading directly against the filtration media.
The 2" L-Style Sediment Trapper uses 2" slip connections, measures approximately 18" L × 5-1/2" W, and supports approximately 35–90 GPM.
Available configurations include polyester mesh, stainless steel mesh, and Chemical-Resistant stainless steel models.

Very nice expansion tank. Mine is a 16 gallon. Has feet so it will sit on the floor next to your boiler and doesn’t have to be mounted on the wall.
It’s sturdy enough to support your Air Separator, Pressure Regulator and Backflow Preventer.
I recently installed my new 29kw BTH Ultra boiler and so far I am really impressed.
We live in an old 2 story brick farmhouse built in 1814! This unit replaced an Outdoor Wood Boiler with a 750 gallon tank. It was about 30 years old and last winter the tank rusted thru and busted.
We have 11 cast iron “American Radiators” and they heat the house well.
The BTH will heat all the water to 150 degrees in about an hour and we don’t have to build a fire and wait hours.
The most impressive part is the Outdoor Temperature sensor. When it’s not that cold outside, the unit doesn’t turn on all the elements at once and slowly heats the water which saves a lot of electricity in the warmer months!
I’m looking forward to see how well it does when the temperature drops between 0-30 and it snows and I don’t have to go outside several times a day and load wood. I’m confident the Ghost Rider will perform!

The boiler works great easy install. But the tech support we got hold of was in French so not a lot of help.manual was easy to follow on wiring
