Rusco 1-1/4" Hot Water Spin-Down Filter
The Rusco 1-1/4" Hot Water Spin-Down Filter provides reusable sediment filtration for water systems where water temperatures are consistently elevated and a standard sediment filter may not be appropriate.
Rusco's Hot Water filter uses a durable thermoplastic construction with a reusable stainless steel filter element. The filter helps capture sediment, rust, scale, and other suspended debris before it reaches water heaters, pumps, valves, fixtures, and downstream equipment.
The transparent cover allows sediment buildup to be visually monitored, while the built-in flush valve allows collected sediment to be discharged during routine maintenance. The stainless steel element can also be removed, cleaned, and returned to service.
The 1-1/4" Hot Water Spin-Down supports a 10–50 GPM flow range, uses 1-1/4" FPT inlet and outlet connections, and measures approximately 15-3/8" L × 5-1/4" W.

Very nice expansion tank. Mine is a 16 gallon. Has feet so it will sit on the floor next to your boiler and doesn’t have to be mounted on the wall.
It’s sturdy enough to support your Air Separator, Pressure Regulator and Backflow Preventer.
I recently installed my new 29kw BTH Ultra boiler and so far I am really impressed.
We live in an old 2 story brick farmhouse built in 1814! This unit replaced an Outdoor Wood Boiler with a 750 gallon tank. It was about 30 years old and last winter the tank rusted thru and busted.
We have 11 cast iron “American Radiators” and they heat the house well.
The BTH will heat all the water to 150 degrees in about an hour and we don’t have to build a fire and wait hours.
The most impressive part is the Outdoor Temperature sensor. When it’s not that cold outside, the unit doesn’t turn on all the elements at once and slowly heats the water which saves a lot of electricity in the warmer months!
I’m looking forward to see how well it does when the temperature drops between 0-30 and it snows and I don’t have to go outside several times a day and load wood. I’m confident the Ghost Rider will perform!
