The Senville AURA SENA-18HF/D 18,000 BTU Dual-Zone Mini Split Air Conditioner and Heat Pump heats and cools two separate spaces using one outdoor condenser and two wall-mounted indoor units. Choose 9,000 + 9,000 BTU, 9,000 + 12,000 BTU, or 12,000 + 12,000 BTU indoor-unit combinations. Each configuration in this listing includes two 16-ft installation kits.
Engineered with Senville's high-efficiency inverter heat-pump technology, the AURA SENA-18HF/D provides year-round comfort with a published efficiency rating of up to 25 SEER2 and manufacturer-advertised ENERGY STAR certification. Certified ratings depend on the selected equipment combination. Advanced cold-climate operation provides heating at outdoor temperatures as low as -22°F (-30°C), making it a strong choice for both summer cooling and winter heating.
Individually controlled indoor air handlers provide personalized temperature settings in each zone. All indoor units must operate in the same heating or cooling mode; simultaneous heating and cooling is not supported. Compatible smart-control features allow convenient remote adjustments through Senville's Wi-Fi control system. The equipment operates on 208/230V single-phase power and uses R-454B refrigerant. Very nice expansion tank. Mine is a 16 gallon. Has feet so it will sit on the floor next to your boiler and doesn’t have to be mounted on the wall.
It’s sturdy enough to support your Air Separator, Pressure Regulator and Backflow Preventer.
I recently installed my new 29kw BTH Ultra boiler and so far I am really impressed.
We live in an old 2 story brick farmhouse built in 1814! This unit replaced an Outdoor Wood Boiler with a 750 gallon tank. It was about 30 years old and last winter the tank rusted thru and busted.
We have 11 cast iron “American Radiators” and they heat the house well.
The BTH will heat all the water to 150 degrees in about an hour and we don’t have to build a fire and wait hours.
The most impressive part is the Outdoor Temperature sensor. When it’s not that cold outside, the unit doesn’t turn on all the elements at once and slowly heats the water which saves a lot of electricity in the warmer months!
I’m looking forward to see how well it does when the temperature drops between 0-30 and it snows and I don’t have to go outside several times a day and load wood. I’m confident the Ghost Rider will perform!
