The SunEarth Premium SE Series solar storage tanks are engineered for residential solar water-heating systems requiring dependable hot water storage and supplemental electric heating.
Suitable for direct (open-loop) solar installations or indirect systems incorporating an external heat exchanger, the SE Series provides a flexible storage solution for residential solar thermal applications.
The 65-gallon models feature fully glass-lined tank construction, 2-inch R16 insulation, and a 4,500-watt electric heating element to maintain water temperature when solar heating is insufficient.
Available in six-year and twelve-year warranty versions, the models offer different component configurations. The twelve-year model features an Incoloy heating element and dual magnesium anode rods, while the six-year model includes a magnesium anode rod with stainless steel core.
Top and side plumbing connections, factory-insulated side ports, prewired temperature sensor provision, and a brass drain valve make the SE Series suitable for a variety of installation layouts.

Very nice expansion tank. Mine is a 16 gallon. Has feet so it will sit on the floor next to your boiler and doesn’t have to be mounted on the wall.
It’s sturdy enough to support your Air Separator, Pressure Regulator and Backflow Preventer.
I recently installed my new 29kw BTH Ultra boiler and so far I am really impressed.
We live in an old 2 story brick farmhouse built in 1814! This unit replaced an Outdoor Wood Boiler with a 750 gallon tank. It was about 30 years old and last winter the tank rusted thru and busted.
We have 11 cast iron “American Radiators” and they heat the house well.
The BTH will heat all the water to 150 degrees in about an hour and we don’t have to build a fire and wait hours.
The most impressive part is the Outdoor Temperature sensor. When it’s not that cold outside, the unit doesn’t turn on all the elements at once and slowly heats the water which saves a lot of electricity in the warmer months!
I’m looking forward to see how well it does when the temperature drops between 0-30 and it snows and I don’t have to go outside several times a day and load wood. I’m confident the Ghost Rider will perform!

The boiler works great easy install. But the tech support we got hold of was in French so not a lot of help.manual was easy to follow on wiring
