The Steca Tarom 4545-48 is a PWM solar charge controller for stand-alone photovoltaic systems with 12V, 24V, or 48V battery banks. It supports up to 45A of module current and 45A of load current.
Multistage charging, temperature compensation, and state-of-charge monitoring help manage battery charging. A backlit graphical LCD displays system information, while integrated logging supports performance review.

Electronic Protection
Protection functions cover overcharging, deep discharge, reverse polarity, short circuits, reverse current at night, overtemperature, and overload. The controller also disconnects loads during battery overvoltage.
Installation Notes
Do not connect an inverter to the controller’s load output. Follow the OEM manual for wiring, protection, battery settings, and installation conditions. Lithium battery compatibility is not established by the reviewed documentation.

Very nice expansion tank. Mine is a 16 gallon. Has feet so it will sit on the floor next to your boiler and doesn’t have to be mounted on the wall.
It’s sturdy enough to support your Air Separator, Pressure Regulator and Backflow Preventer.
I recently installed my new 29kw BTH Ultra boiler and so far I am really impressed.
We live in an old 2 story brick farmhouse built in 1814! This unit replaced an Outdoor Wood Boiler with a 750 gallon tank. It was about 30 years old and last winter the tank rusted thru and busted.
We have 11 cast iron “American Radiators” and they heat the house well.
The BTH will heat all the water to 150 degrees in about an hour and we don’t have to build a fire and wait hours.
The most impressive part is the Outdoor Temperature sensor. When it’s not that cold outside, the unit doesn’t turn on all the elements at once and slowly heats the water which saves a lot of electricity in the warmer months!
I’m looking forward to see how well it does when the temperature drops between 0-30 and it snows and I don’t have to go outside several times a day and load wood. I’m confident the Ghost Rider will perform!
