The SunEarth Custom Absorber 4 x 10 Paint – 1½" Header (CABS-P-40-1.5) is a premium replacement absorber plate engineered for high-performance commercial solar thermal systems. Built with SunEarth's proven SunBurst all-copper absorber technology, this custom absorber maximizes solar energy collection while providing outstanding durability, corrosion resistance, and long-term reliability.
Constructed from a heavy-duty 0.008-inch roll-formed copper absorber sheet continuously soldered to Type-M copper risers and 1½-inch Type-M copper headers, the CABS-P-40-1.5 is designed to deliver superior flow capacity for larger collector arrays and commercial applications. The semi-selective painted absorber coating enhances thermal performance, while the oversized headers help simplify system design by allowing higher flow rates and additional collectors in a bank.
Designed for 160 PSIG maximum operating pressure and hydrostatically tested to 400 PSIG, the CABS-P-40-1.5 provides an ideal solution for replacing aging absorber plates and extending the service life of existing solar thermal collectors. Available in custom sizes up to 14 feet long, SunEarth absorbers are manufactured to restore performance without replacing the complete collector.
