The SunEarth DrainPack Hot Water Station combines solar hot water storage, circulation and controls in a factory-assembled package designed for SunEarth Cascade drainback systems. Each station is tested for hydraulic integrity to reduce on-site assembly and intermediate plumbing connections.
Choose an 80-gallon or 120-gallon glass-lined storage tank with a matching copper drainback reservoir. Both configurations include a copper double-wall heat exchanger, stainless steel circulator, differential temperature controller, potable expansion tank, thermostatic mixing valve and service bypass valves.
When the pump stops, properly pitched collector piping allows the heat-transfer fluid to drain by gravity into the reservoir. Freeze protection depends on correct system design, installation and maintenance; fluid selection must follow SunEarth’s requirements.

Very nice expansion tank. Mine is a 16 gallon. Has feet so it will sit on the floor next to your boiler and doesn’t have to be mounted on the wall.
It’s sturdy enough to support your Air Separator, Pressure Regulator and Backflow Preventer.
I recently installed my new 29kw BTH Ultra boiler and so far I am really impressed.
We live in an old 2 story brick farmhouse built in 1814! This unit replaced an Outdoor Wood Boiler with a 750 gallon tank. It was about 30 years old and last winter the tank rusted thru and busted.
We have 11 cast iron “American Radiators” and they heat the house well.
The BTH will heat all the water to 150 degrees in about an hour and we don’t have to build a fire and wait hours.
The most impressive part is the Outdoor Temperature sensor. When it’s not that cold outside, the unit doesn’t turn on all the elements at once and slowly heats the water which saves a lot of electricity in the warmer months!
I’m looking forward to see how well it does when the temperature drops between 0-30 and it snows and I don’t have to go outside several times a day and load wood. I’m confident the Ghost Rider will perform!
