The SunEarth SolaRay E is a factory-assembled hot water station for indirect solar domestic water heating. Its 80-gallon glass-lined storage tank and copper double-wall heat exchanger transfer collected solar energy to potable water through a separate glycol circuit.
Designed for use with a properly configured SunEarth SolaRay AC indirect system, this pre-engineered station combines storage, circulation, controls and monitoring components. Its three-speed cast-iron pump and differential temperature controller help manage heat transfer between the collector circuit and tank.
Glycol-based freeze protection depends on correct fluid selection, installation and maintenance. Collector selection, piping and final system configuration should follow SunEarthโs installation requirements.

Very nice expansion tank. Mine is a 16 gallon. Has feet so it will sit on the floor next to your boiler and doesnโt have to be mounted on the wall.
Itโs sturdy enough to support your Air Separator, Pressure Regulator and Backflow Preventer.
I recently installed my new 29kw BTH Ultra boiler and so far I am really impressed.
We live in an old 2 story brick farmhouse built in 1814! This unit replaced an Outdoor Wood Boiler with a 750 gallon tank. It was about 30 years old and last winter the tank rusted thru and busted.
We have 11 cast iron โAmerican Radiatorsโ and they heat the house well.
The BTH will heat all the water to 150 degrees in about an hour and we donโt have to build a fire and wait hours.
The most impressive part is the Outdoor Temperature sensor. When itโs not that cold outside, the unit doesnโt turn on all the elements at once and slowly heats the water which saves a lot of electricity in the warmer months!
Iโm looking forward to see how well it does when the temperature drops between 0-30 and it snows and I donโt have to go outside several times a day and load wood. Iโm confident the Ghost Rider will perform!

The boiler works great easy install. But the tech support we got hold of was in French so not a lot of help.manual was easy to follow on wiring
