The SunEarth SolarStation XL is a factory-assembled commercial solar thermal pump station designed to integrate solar circulation, potable-water circulation, heat exchange, and system monitoring into one coordinated mechanical assembly.
Designed for commercial domestic hot water systems and engineered solar thermal installations, the SolarStation XL reduces the amount of on-site assembly required by combining pumps, hydraulic components, a brazed plate heat exchanger, and controls in a commercial-grade enclosure.
The series includes model 100005-2 for collector systems rated up to 480 square feet and model 100005-5 for larger installations. The latter is designated 740 ft² in the manufacturer's available-model list; the published technical rating table specifies 720 ft². Confirm the current approved collector sizing before ordering.
Each station features Type M copper piping, a powder-coated aluminum cover, an electronic flow meter, pressure instrumentation, and a stainless steel brazed plate heat exchanger. Multi-speed circulator pumps provide circulation on the solar and potable sides of the system.
SolarStation XL assemblies are factory assembled and hydraulically tested by SunEarth. Integrated service valves facilitate system filling, flushing, commissioning, and maintenance.

Very nice expansion tank. Mine is a 16 gallon. Has feet so it will sit on the floor next to your boiler and doesn’t have to be mounted on the wall.
It’s sturdy enough to support your Air Separator, Pressure Regulator and Backflow Preventer.
I recently installed my new 29kw BTH Ultra boiler and so far I am really impressed.
We live in an old 2 story brick farmhouse built in 1814! This unit replaced an Outdoor Wood Boiler with a 750 gallon tank. It was about 30 years old and last winter the tank rusted thru and busted.
We have 11 cast iron “American Radiators” and they heat the house well.
The BTH will heat all the water to 150 degrees in about an hour and we don’t have to build a fire and wait hours.
The most impressive part is the Outdoor Temperature sensor. When it’s not that cold outside, the unit doesn’t turn on all the elements at once and slowly heats the water which saves a lot of electricity in the warmer months!
I’m looking forward to see how well it does when the temperature drops between 0-30 and it snows and I don’t have to go outside several times a day and load wood. I’m confident the Ghost Rider will perform!
